The official opening of the Power Trail between New Lanark and the Falls of Clyde took place last week.
CMC installed the graphic panels a while ago (see earlier post) since when we have been providing New Lanark and Scottish Wildlife Trust with packs for school parties and self-guided tours.
The public launch saw school parties and community groups explore the Trail and Drax engineers provided a tour of Bonnington Hydro Electric Power Station.
Completion of the Power Trail, along with its tour packs and STEM resources, helps the Vision for Lanark Partnership achieve one of its key objectives – a more holistic experience for visitors to New Lanark and the Falls of Clyde.
