Shaping the Landscape: Digital Interpretation of the Geology of the Clyde and Avon Valleys
A new exhibition showcasing the rich heritage of the Clyde and Avon Valleys has opened in New Lanark. Focusing on the region’s unique geology, the exhibition takes visitors back 500 million years through the story of the land beneath our feet. It explores how the shape of the landscape has influenced our lives from Iron Age defences and agriculture to harnessing hydro power to drive industry.
CMC Associates along with design partner Abound Design were excited to work with the Clyde and Avon Valley Landscape Partnership to bring together a rich and engaging experience. Our work included public outreach meetings to co-ordinate multiple volunteer groups and other stakeholders in the project as we gathered materials and stories.
CMC Flow was an essential tool for managing the diverse sources of digital materials and for the production of the high quality multi-media content used in the exhibition.
