Our tours vary considerably in function and purpose. They can be for in-door or out-door use and many are delivered using a combination of platforms: smart-phones, tablets, websites, leaflets or graphic panels. However configured, we deliver focused and effective story telling that is appropriate to the location, subject and desired experience. We can use actors or local voice and enrich the story telling as appropriate with images, photorealistic 3D, animations and video clips. Our digital tours can be linked to QR-Codes and other triggers, while outdoor we are normally able to use GPS-triggering.
We are proud and delighted with CMC Associates’ smart phone tour of the Stobbs Prisoner of War Camp. They recorded voice-overs by local volunteers from the Scottish Borders. Local paramedic, Ian Lowes, said ‘I have never done anything like voice recordings before – another great experience of being involved in the project’. The GPS triggered tour is an interactive insight on what Stobs Camp was like over one hundred years ago. (We also used it to guide visitors away from closed areas!) People enjoy using the app to explore the camp and feel inspired to learn even more.
