CMC has been working with the National Trust for Scotland to update the interpretation panels at Culloden Battlefield visitor centre.
The original artwork from 2007 has long disappeared so the panel maps have been redrawn, allowing us to improve the visibility and add QR codes, letting visitors access a further level of information on the Culloden section of the NTS website.
The panels at the Keppoch and Clan Donald stones have also been replaced, allowing for some careful archaeology work to assess the site, prior to these being installed.
We worked closely with Keith Salton at Signergy to determine the most suitable materials and installation methods, to ensure the updated panels would last well out on Culloden moor and that minimum disturbance was caused during the install.
