Mary Queen of Scots is often portrayed as one of the more mysterious characters in history and her dramatic life, and death, has intrigued people for centuries. CMC has produced an interactive touch screen display on the ground floor of the building which gives a panoramic guided tour of each of the upstairs’ rooms, an exploration of Border tower houses and a fun ‘Friend or Foe?’ quiz dramatising Mary’s complicated associations with key characters of the time. The display also features a timeline showing the significant events of her Royal life and a family tree depicting the Union of the Crowns.
