Following a site visit (our first thanks to COVID Restrictions) our team starts in earnest to work on Trees for Life’s new Rewilding Centre at the Dundreggan Estate, Glenmoriston.
Dundreggan Rewilding Centre will be an ‘interpretive gateway’ to the surrounding 10,000 acre estate where rewilding has been actively happening since 2008.
We will be working on telling this story (with our friends at Abound Design) over the next few years. The ground for the new centre is just being laid out and the first turf broken. In due course visitors will be invited to come and ‘rewild’ themselves, to connect with nature and the Gaelic language.
The plan is for them to gain a fuller sense for the aims of Trees for Life and rewilding both at Dundreggan and across the world. We are really looking forward to helping the Trees for Life team do just that. More anon…
