Carved stone object ('T' shape), Skara Brae
Stone object, ground and incised. T-shaped with each projection grown to a cone. The T-junction is delineated by single and double grooves, and decorated with two panels of sized cross-hatching, one on each side, and between them an incised panel of geometric design consisting of a rectangle filled with lozenges, triangles and irregular quadrilaterals.

This remarkable object was found amongst stones in the corner of wall C and D on the west of the site during the 1930 excavations.

Lightweight 3D model suitable for online browsing. Approximately 20,000 triangles.
The original photogrametric model was constructed from 134 images and contained 2 million triangles which was used to produce this light weight model and suitable texture and normal maps.
