Perforated bone phalange

Perforated cattle (Bos sp) phalanx of uncertain use. They have been seen as a form of whistle, and some from Skara Brae have much larger holes and mybe some form of toggle.

Length: 54mm

Found in midden material during the 1972-72 excavations.

The original photogrametric model was constructed from 160 images and contained 2 million triangles which was used to produce this light weight model and suitable texture and normal maps.
